It is established that energy is vital for modern communities, at least in the US. The Trump administration pushes heavily for fossil fuels, while many advocate for green energy. However, we have to face reality. We need both energy sources now and in at least a few decades.
My book says that to arrive faster where we want to go, first, we need to know where we are. Any aircraft pilot or logistics expert can confirm this. So, let’s see where we are:
Global Electricity Generation: 29,925 TWh.
Current renewable power capacity: 4,448 GW. No, even one TWh.

Electric engines cannot yet handle big rigs and equipment, such as large cargo and passenger airplanes like Boeing, C130 military aircraft, large bulldozers, and Caterpillar equipment.
Perhaps more complicated are the materials produced from fossil oil, such as all kinds of plastic products: cell phones, computers, bottles, many vehicle parts, clothes, etc.
More importantly, there should be enough energy supply in a warlike conflict. Many people ask why we must be ready for a warlike strife. It is because the rest of the world does not mess with the US. Then, US citizens can sleep peacefully while the US armed forces are ready, alert, and vigilant. That happens while using tons of fossil fuels.
But nothing lasts forever. While we wait for technology to have the power to move our world without fossil energy, we shall help fossil fuels last as long as possible. How:
Despite some people believing we should not buy fossil fuels from other countries, the smart move is to consume while we can and pay other countries for fuel. Then, we will have a decisive advantage over the rest of the world. We already have it, but do not want to lose it by consuming our reserves.
And here we go; we shall use as much renewable energy as possible to enjoy all the benefits: lower energy costs, a healthier world, and reduced consumption of fossil fuel reserves.
Do you think so?
